Normally we'd be out buying a Christmas tree today. But we've decided to skip the whole Christmas headache this year.

Whether or not I get the greeting cards out on time is still the question.

Talk back!
We do the same -- don't bother with the headache. It makes the break more of an actual break.

Yeah, I nearly broke my neck crossing the street.

Hey, I used to live around the corner from that place. I love the Surinamese restaurants a little left of this place. Great food for a small price. The market isn't so great anymore, though, especially since they started work on the new tube line.

I love the European aesthetic. Not easy to get that feel in sub-urban NJ. It sucks actually. Great photograph

That's a great idea Sue!

Nice idea about skipping the headache issues of Christmas; too bad more people don't. We've all lost the spirit of Christmas and practically the only people who enjoy it are the retailers of the world.

Photograph some Christmas trees. Then print 'em out and use that for your virtual tree. :)
