I got home from the wedding I was shooting on Monday around 8pm. By that time some rather elaborate firework displays had already begun. I commented to Marcel that it was shame that someone would shoot off the good fireworks so early in the evening.

We heard later that the person in question had spent over €2000 (!) on fireworks. Aside from a couple of fireworks that miss-fired in the direction where Marcel and I were standing, it was a rather eventless night in Ravenstein.
